The indication should be less than 100mv. If any deviation higher than 100mv the sensor has failed. If there is no voltage reading, connect the red lead to the right side of the connector when facing it. The voltage should be 12 volts. If there is no voltage the problem is in the wiring. If there is 12 volts, the sensor has failed.
