Switch The Side Mirrors On The Ford Expedition

Side mirrors bring Ford Expedition drivers with added visibility for changing lanes, backing up or negotiating parking lots. Set the door panel aside.4. Remove the three nuts from the mirror mounting studs with your socket set. Unplug the mirror wiring harness from the mirror by hand.


Unplug the wiring harness from the bottom of the window switch and set the switch and bezel aside.


2. Pry the sail panel off the back of the "A" pillar with the trim tool and set it aside. Pry the inner door handle bezel out from behind the inner door handle and set it aside.


3. Remove the exposed fasteners with your socket set. Lift the door panel off the door by hand and disconnect the mirror control switch wiring harness by hand, if so equipped.

Instructions

1. Pry the window switch bezel out of the interior door pull on the door panel using your trim tool.



5. Pull the mirror off the outside of the door manually. Slide the new mirror onto the door in its place.


6. Tighten the nuts onto the new mirror's mounting studs with your socket set. Plug the wiring harness into the new mirror by hand.


7. Reinstall the door panel and associated trim by reversing the steps used to remove it.
