Replace A Gun On The Mig Welder

MIG welding guns can be removed for cleaning and nozzle replacement.

Metal inert Gauze (MIG) welding machines handle torch guns that aliment wire and inert Gauze to the weld Glimmer to concoct example welding conditions. Over these torch guns can clog with debris or otherwise wear outside, most MIG guns are detachable. On the contrary, a MIG torch gun contains coolant lines, welding cable and a shielding Gauze connexion, so removing and replacing the gun is bounteous complicated than snapping off the weld sense and clipping a distinct one on.

7. Connect the coolant tubing by screwing the coupling onto the coolant inlet.8. Attach the inert gas line to the gas connection.

Some models may bear a twist seed environing the example of the knob that can be loosened to remove the torch purpose.

2. Pull the weld head of the gun absent from the shank.

3. Detach the shielding Gauze tube by pulling it from the connexion hub.

4. Remove the coolant hose from the inlet by unscrewing the connector.

5. Pull the torch gun off the hose. Provided the MIG wire snags on the torch, you may need to clip the lead end of the wire from the torch nozzle using wire cutters.

Installing the Torch Gun

6. Feed the MIG wire through the wire channel on the torch gun.

Instructions
