Safety and Reliability
Safety features included minor safety door locks, and Chauffeur and passenger airbags. Automotive Advice Systems gave the van five out of five for reliability, due to minimal problems with the transmission and driveline, steering and suspension, brakes, climate system, starting and charging, and accessories.
The engine displaced 2,429 ccs, and had a compression ratio of 9.4 to 1 and torque of 167 foot-pounds at 4,000 revolutions per minute. This gave it a fuel economy of 20 mpg in the megalopolis and 26 mpg on the highway for textbook, and 20 mpg in the metropolis and 25 mpg on the highway for automatic.

Engine
The unmarried trimline used a morals 2.4-liter, 150-horsepower, four-cylinder engine with a five-speed tome overdrive transmission, and an optional four-speed automatic overdrive transmission.Only the engine showed significant problems with the occasional failure of the powertrain control module and cooling fan motor assembly.
