Color motion, or buffing with the direction of the wheel using medium to light pressure, gives a bright, shiny and clean surface. Buff the wheel in its entirety.
7. Switch to the soft buffer wheel. Apply polishing compound to the wheel as you did in Step 4. The soft wheel and creamy polishing compound will provide the aluminum with shine and luster.
8. Apply the buffer wheel to the aluminum using color motion. Buff the wheel in its entirety, applying more compound as needed.
9. Repeat the above steps for all other wheels requiring buffing. If desired, you can finish each wheel by hand-polishing it.
