Getting to the Ignition Switch


1. Disconnect the annulling battery cable from the battery with a box or socket wrench. Remove the airbag fuse from the Chauffeur side fuse panel.

3. Loosen and remove the central steering revolve fan with a wrench. Wiggle and tap the steering revolve until it slides off of the steering trundle shaft.


4. Loosen and remove the screws holding the steering borderline panels in area with a screwdriver. Unplug the wiring harnesses attached to the switches at the top of the steering wheel shaft.


5. Loosen and remove the screws holding the switches in accommodation with a screwdriver and slide the switch meeting up and off of the steering circle shaft.


Removing the Ignition Switch


6. Drill a gap in the ignition switch housing in categorization to remove the switch. The switch itself inserts into a cylinder in the housing. The gap must be drilled into the side of the housing cylinder 15/31 inch from the top lip of the cylinder and on the side following to the steering shaft.
