300zx Racing Specs

The 300ZX represents the third and fourth reproduction of the Z sports van from Japanese automaker Nissan. Produced for the USA mart from 1984 to 1996, vehivle critics named the 300ZX the quickest and fastest Z entry up to that stop.


Body Models


Three types of coupes existed for the 300ZX: a common coupe, a "2+2" characterized by a slightly larger wheelbase and the Appendix of two miniature rear seats, and the top-level "Look-alike Turbo." The convertible target style false its debut for the 1993 design year.


Engines


For its production run, the Twin Turbo version of the Nissan 300ZX had a peak of around 5 seconds for a 0-to-60-mph distance and 14 seconds for a quarter-mile. By comparison, the 2+2 had a 0-to-60-mph and quarter-mile peak time of 7 seconds and 16 seconds, respectively.



All versions and representation age of the Nissan 300ZX had a 3-liter V-6 engine. That of the Look-alike Turbo, nevertheless, was a turbocharged narration -- thus its autonym, and pumped elsewhere 300 horsepower and 280 foot-pounds of torque. The engine on the other three models generated a comparatively anemic yet still decent 222 horsepower and 198 foot-pounds of torque.
