Instructions


1. Attract a path with your straight-edge from corner to corner on your 30-inch plywood. Position your stand upright and mount your boat motor to the 35-inch board. The propeller and motor should hover above the 10-inch board.


Distance the 35-inch board between them so it lies flat, and so the end of the board is flush with the 12-inch edges of the plywood. Screw six screws through each piece of plywood and into the edges of the board. Space the screws 5 ½ inches apart.


3. Position the 10-inch board perpendicularly on top of the 35-inch board, so its 10-by-12 inch surface is flush with the 12-inch edges of the plywood. Screw four screws through each piece of plywood, and into the edges of the board. Space the screws 2 inches apart.


4. Lay the two triangular pieces of plywood on their hypotenuses. Position the 26-inch plywood over the 12-inch edges and the 10-inch board. The triangular pieces of plywood should both be 6 ½ inches from the edges of the plywood, and the 10-inch board should be flush with the perpendicular 26-inch edge. Screw 12 screws through the 26-inch plywood and into the 10-inch board. There should be two sets of six screws that are 8 ½ inches away from the 26-inch edges that are parallel with the triangular pieces of plywood. Space the screws 1 ¼ inch apart. This is the base to your engine run stand.
