5. Loosen the bolts around the power steering pump with a socket wrench. There will be three bolts to remove. One on the top, one on the left and one on bottom.


6. Pull the pump out from the engine compartment.

7. Line the new pulley up to the bracket where the old pulley bolted. Insert the three bolts and start screwing them by hand. Tighten all three bolts with the socket wrench after they started by hand.


8. Attach the two hoses to the power steering pump. Tighten the hoses with a line wrench.


9. Press the tensioner pulley down to place the serpentine belt over the pulley. Once the belt is on the pulley, slowly release the tensioner to tighten the belt.


10. Locate the power steering fluid cap at the top of the pump. Pour power steering fluid in to the reservoir at half-quart intervals. Place the power steering cap back over the opening to inspect the fluid level. The cap has a dipstick attached to the cap. The power steering pump sends the fluid to the steering gear production the steering revolve model cinch to turn.
