1. Remove the bolts that hold the thermostat housing onto the top of the Vue's engine.Pull the thermostat housing off the engine, then push it and the radiator hose to the side so you can access the thermostat.
3. Remove the thermostat and the thermostat housing gasket, and throw them away.
4. Place the new Vue thermostat housing gasket into place, then set a new thermostat in place. The thermostat is stamped with "top" or "up." This end should stick out of the engine. If it is not placed into the engine correctly, the thermostat will not work.
5. Bolt the thermostat housing back onto the engine, using the original bolts.
