Repair A Driver'S Side Mirror

Side landscape mirrors attach the twin pathway on most contemporary cars.

Most slow base vehicles attach the Chauffeur's side mirror to the side of the machine in a corresponding operation. Three bolts extend from the mirror housing, completed the door and secure using three nuts. To remove the mirror and moderate it you must haul the inner door apart and the dissimilar mirror may be expensive. Repairing the mirror offers a extra price compelling, less elbow grease intensive alternative to replacement.

Instructions

1. Push the fly side of the mirror lens into the mirror housing. The lens pivots on the mirror's Engine located inside the housing, so pushing on the hold together side of the mirror forces the left side of the mirror elsewhere of the housing.

2. Grasp the mirror lens with your hand and then pull outward. The mirror lens attaches to the mirror's motor via retaining clips. The tight tolerance of the mirror housing centers the mirror over the motor and lines up the retaining clips.4. Press the mirror onto the motor with your hand until you feel it snap into place.

As you pull on the mirror lens, the retaining clips let go of the motor.3. Place the new mirror in the housing.
