Removing the window glass from a 2000 Honda CR-V can be done after gaining access to the window regulator by removing the interior panel. No choice tools are needed for the Emigration. Account different discomposure when removing the window glass from the door. Most owners can remove the window glass within an age, depending on the interval spent removing the door panel.
Pry the clips away from the door panel to dislodge them.4. Place the small pry bar between the interior door panel and the door.
Pry the cover away from the door panel.
2. Remove the retaining screws with a Phillips screwdriver holding the door panel to the door. Three screws are located in the armrest assembly while an additional three screws are located near the speaker.
3. Release the clips holding the panel to the door. Place the end of a small pry bar in between the clips visible on the outside of the door panel.
Instructions
1. Place a small standard screwdriver behind the speaker cover.Push on the end of the pry bar to apply pressure to the door panel. Work the pry bar around the entire edge of the door panel, prying it away from the door. Pull the panel away from the door after dislodging the clips. Detach the electrical connections for the window switch, power lock switch and the speaker. The connections can be detached by hand, or place a small screwdriver on the tab of each connector to detach it.
5. Peel the water shield off of the door.
6. Lower or raise the window glass to have the metal lift plate on the bottom of the regulator accessible through the two access holes near the bottom of the door panel. Loosen the two bolts, one on each end of the lift plate, with a socket wrench.
7. Lift the glass up through the door and out of the window opening. When the window glass is almost entirely out of the door, tilt the top of the glass forward to clear the top of the door frame. Continue pulling up on the glass until it clears from the window opening.
