Confirm that the caliper piston is retracted into the caliper meeting piston Muzzle. 5. Install the new inboard disc brake pad. Press the pad firmly into the caliper piston. The new inboard pad must fit against the face of the brake caliper piston. Install the outboard brake pad. Slide the brake pad onto the caliper assembly. Install the brake caliper assembly over the brake rotor and onto the steering knuckle adapter.


6. Using mechanic's wire suspend the caliper from the frame. Guard that the caliper does not hang from the brake hose. This may damage the hose. Remove the brake pads from the caliper Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery.


7. Start the engine and pump the brakes 3 to 4 times to seat the brake pads. Reinstall the wheels. Test drive the Town and Country at slow-to-moderate speeds to ensure that the maintenance was performed correctly.
