Remove the Rear Brake Pads

Install the Rear Brake Pads

8. Place the outboard pad and insulator in the caliper housing. Place the inboard pad with the wear sensor into the caliper pistons. Firmly press the pads until they are they are fully seated.
9. Pivot the caliper upwards until it stops. Insert and tighten the upper bolt to 23 foot pounds. (31 Nm).
10. Replace the wheel assembly (tire). Lower the car to the ground.
11. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
