Remove the air from your brake lines when your ATV's brake fluid gets low.
Provided you own an All-Terrain Vehicle, affliction it in top instance is one hang-up to effect it is defended for you and others. When the ATV's brake fluid becomes low, you should bleed the air from its brake lines. If you don't bleed the air out, you might have to slam the brake pedal to the floor to get it to stop, or it might feel soft and mushy when you press it. Removing the air from the brake lines is a simple job that requires only a few tools.
Instructions
1. Slide under the ATV and locate the bleeder valves behind each wheel. The valves are attached to the brake line hose.
2. Open the top to the master cylinder and top off the brake fluid, if necessary. The master cylinder can be found behind the fenders.
Top off the master cylinder with the brake fluid you collected in your clean container..
8. Remove the hose and wipe off the bleeder valve with a rag.
4. Attach a rubber hose to one of the bleeder valves. Position the hose into a clean container.
5. Ask your assistant to pump the brake pedal, then press it all the way down. Slightly loosen the bleeder valve with a crescent wrench. After fluid has come out of the hose and into the container, tighten the bleeder valve.
6. Repeat Step 5 until only fluid comes out of the hose and no air. Once that happens, that brake line has been bled.
7.3. Put on your eye protection and latex gloves. Ask your assistant to sit on the driver's seat of the ATV.
