Remove Old Tinting film From House Home windows

While window tint applied to your house's windows can decrease the bigness of heat and UV glowing that span your down home's interior, it can deteriorate over date and foundation your residence's interior to seem unsightly. Instructions


1. Decrease full-length pieces of plastic wrap into 3- or 4-inch-wide strips with scissors and settle aside.


Remove the plastic wrap, one strip at a time, and scrape the old tint away from the window with a putty scraper or a single-edge razor blade. Work from the top, bottom or side to remove the tint.6.


Soak the window movie with ammonia spray, and encompass the saturated tint with the strips of plastic wrap. The plastic wrap should cling to the wet window. Allow the plastic wrap strips to remain in place for 45 minutes and check if the window tint begins to wrinkle.


4. Pull back the plastic wrap and re-spray with ammonia if the tint doesn't appear to be loosening from the window's surface. Wait 15 or 20 minutes.

Wash the windows with warm water and mild liquid dish soap to remove the ammonia residue. Avoid using any chemical cleaners because ammonia and other cleaners can produce toxic fumes.
