Instructions


1. Remove the six bolts that secure the valve contain to the top of the cylinder head with a socket wrench and a socket room.Ford's 302 V8 engine basic appeared in the Centre of the 1968 Industry year. 5. Turn the rocker arm's kernel in a clockwise plan due until the tapping sound stops.


6. Turn the rocker arm's kernel in a clockwise trail one-half of one turn in a clockwise plan to finalize the adjustment process.


7. Repeat the process for the remaining rocker arms on that cylinder head.


8. Turn the engine off.


9. Remove the gasket from the underside of the valve cover.


10. Apply engine assembly sealant to a new valve cover gasket.


11. Insert the gasket into the lip that surrounds the edge of the valve cover.


12. Lower the valve cover over the rocker arms.


13. Install and tighten the six bolts that secure the valve cover to the engine with a socket wrench and a socket extension.


14. Repeat steps 1 through 13 to adjust the valves under the other cylinder head.
