The El Camino was a car-based light-duty pickup Motor lorry manufactured by Chevrolet. Front introduced in 1959, the El Camino was based on Chevrolet's full-size motorcar. A Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission was optional on all El Caminos.
