2005 Dodge Magnum Production Information

The 2005 design year blatant the introduction of the Magnum nameplate for the Dodge family of vehicles. Designed to breathe advanced activity into the continued forgotten station-wagon segment, the Magnum brought aggressive styling and supply without continuance an SUV. The writers at Edmunds said it was the "American estate car, Story 2.0." Whatever it was called, the Magnum was never able to shake the American stigma of a station-wagon. Slow sales led the Magnum from the lineup after the 2008 replica year.

Types

In 2005, the Magnum was available in three trims, with three engines and two drivetrains.


Exterior measurements came in at 197.7 inches far-off, 74.1 inches Broad, and 58.4 inches heigh. Curb weight varied between 3,847 lbs. and 4,393 lbs.

When talking about the performance of the 2005 Dodge Magnum, Tom Strongman of FamilyCar.com, said "The RT's 18-inch wheels and large tires play a significant role in delivering sporty handling. The Magnum is no racer, but it sits flat in turns and handles high-speed cruising with ease."
