Clean Aem Cold Air Intake Filters

An AEM chilled air intake filter is typically conical in shape and attaches to the extreme of the cold-air intake pipe on your vehicle. This is generally an aftermarket preference on most vehicles and allows a larger manual of air to flow into the engine than what is available with the inventory air box on most Industry vehicles. Over period, these filters incline stain; on the contrary, AEM filters can be cleaned and reused.


Instructions


1. Unscrew the hose clamps on the the filter where it connects to the air intake.


2. Remove the air filter from the air intake drainpipe.


3. Tap all loose dirt off the filter and shake Disinfected.


4. Fill a bucket of H2O Sufficiently so that the comprehensive filter can be submerged in it (excluding the filter neck) and then add 12 ounces of AEM filter cleaning concept to the drench.


8. Take the filter out of the water, empty the bucket and repeat steps 4, 5, 6, and 7.9.


Soak the filter for 10 minutes.


7. Agitate the H2O by rotating the filter back and forth to further remove any remaining dirt and debris.


5. Submerge the filter in the bucket of saturate so that the H2O covers the complete filter on the other hand not the filter neck. Effect not remit irrigate to enter ended the filter neck.6.


Take the filter out of the water, empty the bucket and allow the filter to air dry.


10. Reinstall the filter. Installation is the reverse of removal.
