The 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe is a reliable, lumbering all-wheel handle giant. One of the easiest ways to cache that older Tahoe looking ageless is to manipulate touch-up distemper to the inevitable nicks and scratches that come over duration. But, before buying touch-up emulsion, you'll itch the distemper statute instead of merely eyeballing the colour. You can further easily decode the colour yourself using large online touch-up paint websites or by calling your limited paint shop.
Instructions
1. Open the glove box, situated directly in front of the front passenger's side door.
2. Look for a sticker labeled "Part Identification." This is where the paint code is located.
Call your local automotive paint shop and ask them to decode your 2002 Tahoe's paint code and read them your code. You can also check online for websites that decode Chevrolet color codes. (See Resources 1 & 2.) Match the code with what's on the website to find out the exact color of your vehicle.
3. Locate the paint code and write it down. The code is a combination of five or six letters and numbers beginning with either "BC," "CC" or "WA."4.
