The blower Engine meeting in the Kia Spectra is located under and last the glove compartment. The blower Engine pushes baking or crisp air into the compartment via an electrical Engine that turns a squirrel cage. The blower motor's speeds are controlled by the blower Engine resistor, which is located in near proximity to the blower Engine.
Instructions
1.5. Remove the squirrel cage type fan from the blower motor by removing the nut on top of the shaft using a wrench. Pull the squirrel cage off. Attach the blower motor squirrel cage to the new blower motor.
2. Remove the under-dash insert by removing the 7mm screws.
3. Remove the electrical connector from the blower Engine by simply pulling it absent. Remove the four screws in the blower Engine using the ¼-inch operate socket, ratchet and short extent.
4. Lower the blower Engine down, captivating interest not to schism the plastic fan blades. Whether the blower motor will not come down far enough to angle and be removed, push it back up and pull the carpet down and toward the rear of the vehicle to give clearance.
Remove the glove compartment by removing the screws on all sides of the inside circumference and on the backside of the sprint. Capitalization the ¼-inch socket and ratchet. Remove the hook mechanism on the inside top of the compartment. Withdraw the inner glove compartment liner. Install the blower motor in reverse order of removal.
