7. Grease the starter motor's plunger lever, wiping away any extra grease with a lint-free cloth or shop rag.


8. Use a soldering iron to install new brushes to the field coil of the starter motor. Use a multimeter to check the continuity by contacting the probes to either end of the solder and setting the resistance to infinity. If the resistance is zero, the solder is properly done; however, if the resistance is infinity, it is not conducting across the solder.


Remove the C-clip from the starter Engine in circuit to seperate its inner components. Bag a wrench or socket wrench to remove the bolts on the Attractive extreme cap, which is consequent to the terminal. Extract the Attractive boundary cap and spring components.
