Chicago's Windy Megalopolis Corvette Club is a member of the Midwest Region of the Public Council of Corvette Clubs. This is a newer club, single having started in 1990. Regular membership meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at Mickadoon's Pub at 8601 W. 159th St. in Orland Stadium. Events select put throughout the year and subsume trips to district eateries, races at Tire Trestle in South Bend, Ind., picnics and charity endeavor. The club is a sponsor of the Spina Bifida Society of Illinois. Chicago Cross-Roads Corvette Club
The Chicago Cross-Roads Corvette Club was founded in 1992 to encourage personal growth and achievement for Corvette enthusiasts. It also sponsors events, collects and publishes information on the Corvette for those researching the car and supports area communities. Members in good standing are eligible for continuing education scholarships for themselves, their spouses, children or grandchildren. General membership meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month from 2 to 4pm in various locations throughout the area. Locations are posted on the events calendar on the club's Web site. The club also participates in social functions such as parades, local car shows, races and holiday parties.
